Stock has legible acceptance mark on left side of butt. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2,000 yards. Receiver is marked on left side "MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895. Very nice Chilean contract Mauser w/ attractive fiddle back walnut stock. Bore retains a degree of shine with worn lands. Metal has traces of blue turning gray & patina w/ wear & oxidation. CONDITION: well worn stock set w/ thin scratches & staining throughout. Sling swivel is mounted on right side of butt. Inverted V front sight w/ protective ears. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1,400 meters.

Overall, a nice group of Mauser"s for your collection. Bayonet is fair with wear and dents on the scabbard. Bore is lightly frosted with fair rifling left. Signs of arsenal repair can be seen in a few areas. Stock is good with minor dings, scratches and light wear. Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and patina in areas. Sling is a reproduction K98 Mauser sling. Bayonet is serialized, but does not match the gun.

Serial numbers on this gun are all matching, including the cleaning rod. Manufactured by Loewe in Berlin for the Argentine government. (C) Argentine 1891 Mauser rifle with sling and bayonet. It to retains a good amount of packing grease. Bayonet is good with generous wear throughout. The bolt and receiver retain a fair amount of storage grease and will need to be cleaned before firing.

There is a larger crack behind the front band. Stock is solid overall with a few minor cracks and gouges. Metal retains little to none of its original finish with generous patina on the the rifle as a whole. Bayonet and scabbard do not match as well. A faint stock cartouche can be seen on this rifle. Numerous acceptance marks accompany this rifle. A nice Chilean crest still present on this gun. This rifle was converted to 7.62x51 NATO sometime by the the Chilean government. Stock is good with minor chips, scratches and gouges. Metal retains 75% of its original bluing with light wear and numerous handling marks present. A nice stock cartouche, dating to 1895 is present.

Serial numbers on this gun are all matching with the exception of the cleaning rod. Manufactured by Loewe in Berlin for the Chilean government. Lot consists of: (A) Chilean 1895 Mauser with bayonet.
